This rig is perfect for long haul / short stay trips for two
people.
1994 Ford F150 short bed truck with all the power equipment that
Ford has available. The camper is a 7 ft. Northland with automatic
furnace and potty-chair. |
The advantage of this combination is that with the automatic
overdrive transmission we can get 16 miles per gallon with cruise
control on the freeways. Disadvantage is no bathroom suitable
for meditating. |

Here's our 20 ft. Travelcraft class C motorhome on a Dodge van
chassis. It's just right for spending more time camping than
driving. It could sleep six, but is just fine for four people |
On a cold raining night, what could be more comfy than snuggling
with your spouse in a warm cozy motorhome? |

This rig has an airconditioner on the roof and a rack on the
back that is suited to hauling bicycles and firewood. |
With only 40,700 miles on it, this unit looks like new inside
and out. Can you believe that we bought it from a private party
for under $5,000. |

Yes, the color scheme is 1970's earthtones with yellow and orange...
so, should we spend $20,000 more to get a fashionable color scheme?
I don't think so. |
The rear sofa folds down into a bed for two. We've got a refrigerator-freezer,
microwave, 4 burner stove, TV, stereo sound system and all the
good stuff! |

The bathroom is roomy enough for even the largest person to meditate
in total privacy. Yes, there is hot water for washing up. |
The dinette converts to another bed for two if necessary. Padded
headrests and seat & shoulder belts have been added for traveling
safety. |

This rig looks pretty spartan in the drivers compartment. The
Dodge 360 V-8 has been tuned up and has plenty of power. |
If you are thinking about buying a motorhome, watch the classified
ads for a private party that has a low mileage and well cared
for unit which you can buy for a small fraction of the cost of
a new one. Of course, if you have money to throw away in depreciation,
go out a buy a new one for $50,000. |
