This tender and charming depiction of sibling love and family bonds is the product of a sculptor whose identity is unknown. Its sentiment is appealing and its design is flowing with grace.	Mme. de Pompadour appointed Falconet director of the royal porcelain factory at Sevre. There he was able to create pleasurable designs like Garde a Vous. In Garde a Vous we see one who is still a child but one whose charm will ensnare the hearts of men.
