This used to be a two story building. I don't
know why it was cut down to one story. You can faintly see where
the bricks filled in the upper windows.
In the 40s and 50s this was the location of the McCoys Palouse
Farms Creamery. Butter in the local grocery stores came from
here. Buckets of milk or cream came daily on the W I & M
railroad train from points East of Palouse. When the creamery
ceased operations, the building was converted to apartments and
the sign changed from Palouse Farms to "Palouse Arms." |
