1987 Cadillac Allante - View # 2
Our Cadillac Allante was made in Italy with Cadillac mechanicals. The car was then flown back to the U.S. aboard specially fitted Boeing 747's. This rare and expensive two-seater luxury sports car has only 30,000 miles on it since new. It was a one owner car until we bought it for the collection. The removable hard top has a black fabric soft top under the boot. This car is in original showroom condition. The MSRP for this Allante in 1987 was $54,700. It is a fine car, but not many traditional Cadillac buyers were willing to part with that kind of money for a two-seater back in 1987. (A new Corvette convertible was only $33,172 in 1987.) We have the stock Cadillac wheels, but we are inclinded to think that the Prime wheels shown on the car in these photo look better than the stock wheels.
