1955 Ford Fairlane Victoria

It was the cat's meow in 1955... and in many ways it still is. This low miles original car has had only minor restoration work accomplished to produce a near perfect example of 1955 style and flair. If you were in high school in 1955 you know exactly what I am talking about. It drives as good as it looks too. Driving it today, the skinny steering wheel seems huge. But the smooth ride and soft rumble of the V8 still says luxury with style. Yes... 1955 was a very good year

From the 1955 Ford brochure:
Here is a new and exciting open-sided beauty. Long, low, graceful lines, enhanced by the new wrap-around windshield, give the Victoria a distinction that's all its own. Quarter windows roll down out of sight leaving no center posts and providing a wonderful feeling of openess! It's available in single and two-tone colors.

From the 1955 Ford brochure:
Victoria Interiors:
In keeping with the beauty and grace of the victoria's new exterior styling, you get the latest in modern nylon-and-vinly or two-tone vinyl upholstery. Seats are pleated in a unique new block poattern. As in all Fairlane models even the steering wheel and column are color-blended with interior and exterior colors.
